What are the benefits of baking soda?

Follow these simple steps to find a sink of sparkling cleanliness with a product you probably already have on hand: baking soda.

The only positive point of the dirty plates is when they camouflage a dirty sink. If rust marks, stains or wear marks created by years of use appear in the sink, a quick wash with soap and water will not return it to its sparkling cleanliness. Fortunately, the solution to your dirty sink is probably found in your kitchen cabinet: baking soda!

Can you clean your sink with baking soda?

There are obviously chemicals that you can use to clean a sink. But if you have pets or children, it is best not to keep toxic products in the house. Baking soda is cheap, non-toxic and remarkably effective for polishing many surfaces.

Baking soda is a mildly abrasive cleaner that can be used safely on most sinks, including stainless steel, fiberglass and enamel. Also, when you rinse baking soda, it can also help to deodorize and even vent the vent pipe. So take the box and get to work!

Follow these steps

Wash your sink to make sure it does not contain waste and food particles;
Begin with a slightly damp sink, but do not use too much water to dissolve the baking soda before it has had time to do its job;

Generously sprinkle the wet surface of the baking soda sink to form a paste with small lumps;
No pity for your sink. Finally, rather no pity for the spots! Dip the sponge or cloth (non-abrasive!) And rub the baking soda vigorously into the sink;

Rinse the sink with clean water. If the putty of your sink has taken on a grayish or faded color, you can also use the baking soda mixture to clean it. Simply take a toothbrush, apply the paste and brush. You should get a sink clean enough to be able to eat inside (which is probably to avoid).

Other Home Sink Cleaning

Stubborn stains? After using the bicarbonate rinse:
To remove stains: Cut a lemon in half. Take each half and scrub it on the sink tasks, making sure to spread the juice and pulp. Allow the juice to dry on the surface for about thirty minutes. Then rinse your sink. Throw the lemon zest into the trash to give it a pleasant fragrance.
To disinfect: Soak paper towels in vinegar and place them on the surface of your sink for 20 minutes. Remove the paper towels and rinse the sink. The vinegar will act as a disinfectant by preventing the presence of microbes in your sink.
If baking soda and elbow grease are not enough to get rid of your sink, it is better to consult a plumber or cleaning professional. You can also use a garbage disposer likeĀ http://bestgarbagedisposalreviews.net like this that can help to grind up the waste.
